A Birthday. A Moment of Sukoon.

Today, as I step into another year, I find myself not craving celebration, but stillness. Not noise, but a quiet turning inward.

A moment to pause.
To reflect, to realign, and to gently return to what truly matters.

YourSukoon was never meant to be just a business.
It was born from my own search, for grounding, for clarity, for peace that walks alongside life, not away from it.

Over time, this space became something more.
A home for ancient wisdom to meet modern living.
A reminder that peace is not passive.
That clarity is not control.
That stillness is not silence, but strength.

The Bhagavad Gita has been the heart of this journey.
It did not just change how I see the world.
It changed how I meet myself within it.

One verse continues to guide me:

श्रेयान् स्वधर्मो विगुणः परधर्मात् स्वनुष्ठितात्।
स्वधर्मे निधनं श्रेयः परधर्मो भयावहः॥
(Bhagavad Gita 3.35)

It is better to walk your own path with flaws than to follow another’s perfectly.
There is greater dignity in living your truth, even if it is difficult, than in living someone else’s, no matter how safe it seems.

This teaching became the foundation of YourSukoon.
Because the journey toward peace does not begin by changing the world.
It begins by being honest with ourselves.
By choosing clarity over confusion. Purpose over pressure. Wholeness over performance.

To me, spirituality is not a retreat from life.
It is a return to it with deeper presence.

Through every workshop, every reflection, and every small practice, YourSukoon invites us all to remember that a peaceful mind and a purposeful soul are not luxuries. They are our truest strength.

This birthday, I do not celebrate the passing of time.
I celebrate the deepening of intention.

To walk slower.
To speak more mindfully.
To lead from the heart.
To live from the center.

To all those who have paused with me, reflected with me, or found even a moment of Sukoon through this space… thank you.

May we continue to grow not just older, but more inwardly aware.
Not just outwardly successful, but inwardly settled.
Not just wiser with years, but braver in truth.

With quiet gratitude and renewed resolve,

Manisha Bhakre
